RENO DAY #5

Day 5 of the Bathroom(s) Reno and we are nearing the finish line.

So pitter-patter let's get at 'er!

Progress on Ensuite...tiles now done and grouted!
Left to do: counter top, sink/tap install.

Master Bathroom....tiling done! (Notice the shower ceiling too!)
 Left to do: grout, counter top, sink/tap install.

Powder Room is now done. Fixtures just need to go back in.




Well check back in next week as we cross the finish line!

RENO DAY #3

Day 3 of Reno 2011

Since there wasn't much visible progress yesterday, I opted to wait till today for an update.

So without further delay....

The Ensuite....laid the foundation and started tiling.

The Master Bathroom....plumbing finished, shower base installed (although right now covered up with protective cardboard), concrete drywall in shower installed, floor mudded, and ceiling fan installed.

The Powder Room....tiles laid down.

And one more bonus pic....

Luckily we have no furniture in the living room, makes for a great staging area!

Well....things are moving along nicely.

Next time should see some real progress!

AND SO IT BEGINS....

Today was day 1 of Reno 2011....
...and that means DEMOLITION!


First the Ensuite...toilet removed, floor ripped up and counter top removed.

And then the Master Bathroom: bathtub/tiles/old drywall removed, toilet removed, floor ripped up, counter top/sink removed.

And the Powder Room. This room is the furtherest along, they have removed all fixtures, ripped the old tile up, and already mudded the floor (i think that's the correct term).

Well under way. Should see some serious progress by tomorrow.
